Long before the Big Horn Show became a four-day celebration of everything outdoors, it was built around a simple idea: bringing hunters together to share their trophies, swap stories, and celebrate the traditions of the hunt. Trophy displays and scoring were at the heart of the show from the very beginning, and 65 years later, that tradition is still going strong.

As we celebrate our 65th anniversary, we’re going back to our roots and inviting everyone to be part of the history. Whether it’s a trophy from last season, a buck that’s hung over the fireplace for decades, or a treasured family mount passed down through generations, we’d love to see it in Trophy Territory. Every trophy has a story, and some of those stories deserve to be told again.

Our official Boone & Crockett scorers will be on hand to score all 27 B&C-recognized North American big game species harvested under Fair Chase principles. Trophies compete in two categories:

• Current Harvest: Trophies taken during the most recent hunting season.

• Prior Harvest: Trophies taken in any previous season, no matter how many years ago.

First-place winners for each species in both categories receive a coveted Big Horn Show Belt Buckle.

You can bring in a trophy harvested by yourself, a family member, or a friend. Whether it’s a record contender or simply a trophy with a great story behind it, we encourage you to bring it in and help us celebrate 65 years of hunting heritage.
