Disabled Hunting Opportunity

Do you have a disability endorsement through WDFW?  If so, take advantage of a unique hunting opportunity on private land with plenty of deer, that browse within range of a newly built wheelchair platform, courtesy of the Inalnd Northwest Wildlife Council, and the property owner, Mark Rednour.

Just a little over an hour drive from Spokane, this platform is tucked into a copse of mixed conifers that give the hunter some cover, while offering several shooting lanes.

Directions from Spokane:  North on Hwy 2, then left onto Hwy 211 for 15 miles to the junction of Hwy 20.  Turn left, then turn right onto Triangle road up to the junction of 5th Street, stay right and continue onto bridge crossing the Pend Orielle River.  After crossing the river, turn Right onto LeClerc Cr Rd.  After 1.5 miles, turn left onto Berry Rd, and continue for 0.9 miles and turn right onto Frissell Rd.  Continue on Frissell Rd to the gate.

If you have made arrangements with the owner or his associate, they will meet you at the gate for entry.  If the disabled hunter has a hunting companion (highly recommended), that person should drop the disabled hunter off at the platform, then continue up the road and around to the barn to park vehicle as indicated by the “P” on the photo.

To take advantage, you must contact the land owner, Mark, at: (509) 671-0278
